Please note where the sink will go (and if it's an over or under mount), if you would like a backsplash and if so, how tall, if there are any windowsills or pass-through's and any other information you think would help describe your project.
We will prepare an estimate for your review. If it's for kitchen countertops we can include an estimate of how many slabs it might take; keep in mind that stone design (amount of movement), template layout and seem matching, all factor in how many slabs you will need.
Once we receive an "ok", will draw up a contract.
Next is the fun part - selecting your stone! We have a large selection of stone and quartz remnants for smaller projects in stock. You'll want to visit one of the local stone yards we work with to view their large selection of slab choices for kitchens and larger projects. (There is a Stone Vendor List in our Welcome Packet).
If you're interested in Quartz, we are an authorized fabricator and installer for Caesarstone, Cambria and Silestone. They have samples on their website of what they each have to offer. (See all the quartz line we're certified to fabricate here).
Next we make an appointment to come out and make a template of your countertop area. Your sink, stove, cook top and anything else that may have an effect on the countertop must be on hand. We will drill the faucet, soap dispenser or any other holes onsite at the time of installation, but the countertops and edge details are fabricated in our shop and brought to you home ready to install.
We like clients to come to our location to approve the placement of your template on the actual slab. If your stone has a lot of movement (variation in the design) you may want to stipulate what areas of the slab show up on specific areas of your countertop.
We will be back to install your beautiful countertops 7-10 business days after template approval!
We are here to step you through the process and to help make your custom countertop project as smooth as possible!
